I have played with different lightings to create dynamic effects within the space. The lighting effects play a very significant role in this lake house, as the owner is very sensitive to lighting.
The first image shows the lighting/shadow casting in the morning. Can you see how the opening on the eastern facade of the lake house casts a shadow over the bed on second floor? The light/shadow actually wakes the owner up in the morning.
The second image shows the natural lighting of the daytime. All areas of the lake house are bright in the day time. 
The last image captures the shadow casting of the afternoon/night time. There are only few sources of light in the lake house, usually keeping the area in dark.
